These Terms govern your use of Tellable Lesson Capture ("the extension"). By installing or using the extension, you agree to these Terms.
About the extension
The extension records language-lesson audio and uses AI to turn it into study notes — vocabulary and summaries. No account is required, and your notes, vocabulary, and settings are stored only on your device.
Recording consent (important)
You are responsible for recording lawfully. Record only with the consent of the people involved, and follow the laws in your region (some places require all parties to consent). A recording indicator is shown while recording.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the content you record and generate with the extension. Do not use it to record or process content that is unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
AI-generated content
Transcriptions, summaries, vocabulary, and translations are generated automatically by AI (and, for on-device features, by your browser) and may not always be accurate or appropriate. Always verify important content yourself. We are not liable for outcomes resulting from reliance on this output.
Prohibited use
You may not reverse-engineer the extension, abuse its features (e.g. excessive automated requests to the backend relay), or use it for any unlawful activity.
Disclaimer
The extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the extension.
Changes and discontinuation
The extension and its features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.
Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the extension after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
